KSUBI Previews Its Juice WRLD-Inspired "999 Club" Collection

Influenced by the late rapper’s habit of drawing on denim.

Australian denim and streetwear label KSUBI just launched its “999 Club” collection, in tribute to late rapper and songwriter, Juice WRLD. The connection between the two has always been constant — the late-rapper often name-drops the brand in his songs and freestyles, while also encapsulating KSUBI’s “Creative Outsider” ethos. The collection also lends its name from Juice WRLD’s 999 Club, a foundation that strives to honor and continue the late rapper’s legacy through posthumous music releases and merch.

Comprising eight pieces in mostly KSUBI’s signature denim, the capsule collection also spans everyday apparel such as hoodies and T-shirts. Influenced by Juice WRLD’S habit of personalizing his denim with drawings, the lineup from “999 Club” is illuminated with various scribbles of skulls, thorned hearts, graffiti lettering, co-branding, and the occasional splatter of paint.

The “999 Club” lookbook is shot by photographer Neriyah, while the campaign video is directed by Steve Cannon. The collection is modeled by Juice WRLD’S frequent collaborator which includes rapper Trippie Redd, producer Haan, skater Boo Johnson, actress Jessica Belkin, artist Skye Morales, model Ashley Got as well as emerging artist ZZZ.

Preview the lookbook in the gallery above. The collection will be available to shop soon at 999 Club’s website, in stores and online at KSUBI, as well as select retailers.
