Following a debut collaboration last year, PORTER CLASSIC and Disney are reconnecting this season for a limited FW22 capsule collection.
The series arrives in indigo blue and beige featuring silhouettes such as half-zip turtleneck sweaters, zip-up work jackets, and French jackets lined in cozy teddy fleece fabrics. The outwear pieces are fitted with nylon pocket patches incorporating archival Mickey Mouseblueprint sketches and rounded hems. Completing the series are indigo bandanas displaying storyboard prototypes of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and puppies from 101 Dalmatians. The annotated illustrations show the beginnings of Disney’s most iconic characters including the comparative heights of Goofy and Mickey, instructions on how Donald’s cap should be worn at a “cocky” angle, and how to make puppies run through animation.
Look for the Disney x PORTER CLASSIC capsule to release via the Porter Classic website and locations on November 19. In the meantime, a black-clad Cinderellacollaboration is now available via PORTER CLASSIC featuring reversible leather outwear.
